Hi, hello! I’m Jacquelyn, yarn horder, crochet addict and creator of cute (and creepy-cute) things made of string!
I am the blogger and creator behind Sierra Jade Crochet.
I am a Canadian fiber artist. I am passionate about my craft and often a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to my creations.
When I am not creating, I can usually be found gaming. Our family maintains a private Minecraft server and all of us are invested in various games.
i’m super excited that you’re here!
But I’m more than just a horder of yarn and crocheter of cute things…
I am blessed to be a stay-at-home mama of three almost-grown children and two very spoiled chihuahuas, one who is constantly at my side. I love spending time in my garden and preserving all the veggies for my family.
I have always loved creating – a trait inherited from both my Grandmother and mother – the opportunity for me to create specialized items for others is of great importance to me.
Crochet keeps me from unraveling
Are you a yarn horder? Do you love to crochet?
You’re in the right place! Let’s be friends!
I am a self-taught crocheter. My grandmother always tried to teach me her craft and it was only after she was unable to pass her tips and techniques down to me that I actually took up crochet.
I specialize in many forms of the craft. Almost 15 years ago, I started out making hats and scarves, but I have turned my main focus to creating fiber art collectibles, amigurumi, loveys, plushies & stuffies. Each hand-made creation – whether based on pop culture or my imagination – is crafted with attention to detail and is unique in its own way.
Crocheting has done wonders for my mental health too! It relaxes my mind and often helps me cope with my severe anxiety.
To practice any art, no matter how well or how badly is a say to make your soul grow. So do it!

Seeing my children smile.
Pizza & movie (or Supernatural) nights with my partner.
